4.1. Component Connection and Initial Unlock

Before mounting the lock, connect the keypad to the lock body and install the battery. The lock comes with a factory default master code for initial testing and setup.

1. Connect the cable from the digital keypad to the lock body.
2. Connect the battery to the battery connector.
3. To unlock with the factory password, input the factory set code (12345678) and then press the '#' key. The lock should beep and the green light will flash, indicating successful unlock.

5.1. Changing the Master Code

It is highly recommended to change the factory master code immediately after initial setup.

1. Press '**' (star key twice). The lock will beep twice with a yellow light flash.

4. Input the new master code again and press '#'. If successful, the green light flashes. If red light flashes with a warning, the setting failed and you must start from the beginning.

5.2. Setting Multiple User Codes

Up to 5 different user codes can be set. Each user code can be 3-8 digits long.

1. Press '**'. The lock will beep twice with a yellow light flash.
2. Input the current master code and press '#'. The lock will beep twice.
3. Input any one number from 1-5 and press '#'. This is the user's identification number.
4. Input the new 3-8 digit user code and press '#'. The red light flashes.
5. Input the new user code again and press '#'. If successful, the green light flashes. If red light flashes with a warning, the setting failed and you must start from the beginning.

5.3. Deleting User Codes

To delete an existing user code:

1. Press '**'. The lock will beep twice with a yellow light flash.
2. Input the current master code and press '#'. The lock will beep twice.
3. Input the user's identification number (1-5) twice and press '#'. The lock will beep twice with red light flashes.
4. If successful, the green light flashes. If red light flashes with a warning, the setting failed.

5.4. Access Options: Single Mode or Dual Control Mode

The lock supports both single user access and dual control mode, requiring two valid codes to open.

1. Press '**'. The lock will beep twice with a yellow light flash.
2. Input the current master code and press '#'. The lock will beep twice.
3. Input '1' for single mode or '2' for dual control mode, then press '#'. If successful, the green light flashes. If red light flashes with a warning, the setting failed.

5.5. Time Delay Function

The time delay function can be set from 0 to 59 minutes.

1. Press '**'. The lock will beep twice with a yellow light flash.
2. Input the current master code and press '#'. The lock will beep twice.
3. Input the desired minute of delayed opening (00-59) and press '#'. If successful, the green light flashes. If red light flashes with a warning, the setting failed.

5.6. How to Open the Lock

To open the lock, input any valid code and press '#'.

• If in single mode, the green light flashes and the lock will be in open position for 5 seconds. Turn the handle to open the safe door.
• If in dual control mode, the green light flashes, then input the second code and press '#'. The green light will flash and the lock will be in open position for 5 seconds. Turn the handle to open the safe door.
• If a time delay is set, the lock will remain locked for the programmed delay time. After the delay, the lock will be in open position for 5 seconds.

The system will check the power of the battery automatically. When the battery power is low, the red light will flash with a warning sound when you open the safe. Please replace the battery immediately. To replace, open the battery housing cover at the bottom side of the keypad and insert a new 9V alkaline battery.
