Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the material or adhesive. Ensure the area around the lock remains clean to prevent debris from interfering with its operation.

• Oven door still opens with lock engaged: Re-check the placement of the lock to ensure it effectively bridges the gap between the oven frame and door. The lock should be positioned so that the door cannot be pulled open when the lock is in the horizontal position.
