- Assemble Filter Modules: The filter comes with independent modules for multi-stage filtration. Ensure the included Carbonated Foam (chemical filtration) and Foam 30 PPI (mechanical filtration) cartridges are correctly placed within the filter body. - Attach Magnetic Connection System (MCS): The filter utilizes a magnetic connection system. Attach the external magnet to the outside of your aquarium glass, aligning it with the internal magnet on the filter unit. The MCS is rated for up to 6 mm (0.25") glass thickness.
- Select Water Flow Option: The Shark Pro Nano 250 offers four water flow options:
- Unidirectional Flow: For a direct stream of water.
- Multidirectional Flow: Use the included deflector for broader water movement.
- Spray Bar: Attach the spray bar accessory for gentle, even water distribution and surface agitation.
- Oxygen Enrichment with Venturi: Connect the air silencer with air regulation on the Venturi for increased oxygenation.
- Position the Filter: Place the filter inside your aquarium in a desired location. The compact design allows for easy hiding in corners. Ensure the filter is fully submerged before powering on.
