2. Initial Placement and Power Connection

Place the litter box on a flat, hard surface. Avoid placing it on carpets or against walls to ensure accurate weight sensor readings and proper operation. Connect the power adapter to the unit and plug it into a suitable electrical outlet.

3. Litter and Waste Bin Setup

The PuraMax 2 is compatible with most clumping cat litter types (Tofu, Bentonite, Clay, Mixed). Fill the barrel with your chosen litter, ensuring it stays below the MAX line indicated inside the unit. Install the provided trash bag in the waste bin located on the side of the unit, and insert the N50 2.0 odor dispeller.

1. Waste Bin Emptying

The sealed waste bin can hold up to 15 days of waste for a single cat. To empty, unlock the latch on the side, pull out the waste bin, and dispose of the full trash bag. Replace with a new trash bag and reinsert the bin.

2. Liner Cleaning and Replacement

The enhanced liner is scratch-resistant, wear-proof, and non-stick. It can be easily detached for cleaning or replacement. Gently wipe the litter pad during clean-up; avoid scrubbing to prevent damage to the water-proof surface.

• Odor persists: Ensure the N50 2.0 odor dispeller is correctly installed and has not expired. Check the K3 smart spray for sufficient liquid.
• Litter sticking to liner: Ensure you are using a compatible clumping litter. For soft stools, allow 2 minutes for clumping before the cleaning cycle.
• Inaccurate weight readings: Ensure the litter box is placed on a flat, hard flooring or a rigid mat, not on carpet.
