Depending on your model, you can mount them inside or outside the frame. Typically, you space the mounting brackets about 2-6 inches from each end of the headrail, attach the brackets to the wall or frame using the provided screws, and slide the headrail onto the back tabs until it snaps securely into place.
Identify the motor head, press and hold the PROGRAM button until the motor beeps and the shade oscillates (moves slightly). Then, press the UP button on the remote. The shade will oscillate again, indicating the remote is paired.
